Jasper wanted some quiet right now. No, he wanted Alice with him right now. But he wanted to be away from Edward knowing his thoughts. He was outside of the house walking toward the forest. He didn't know where she was. Jasper hoped she would be there very soon. His mind was made that he would be spending time with her.
She should see this. Alice should have predicted that they would be in their room in a bit. She was probably on her way soon, or now even. Her powers were always for the best it seemed. If she couldn't see the future, they would have never met. And Jasper would have been alone, probably going back to the first born armies. That was all he knew then. Alice knew more, she knew they would end up with the Cullens. She knew they would end up here.
As Jasper walked toward the forest quietly and alone, he couldn't help but think about how calmer it had been around here since the Volturi incident had ended. The tension that had been in the air with all the crimson-eyed vampires around, and the Volturi guard approaching was almost driving Jasper crazy. Emotions to him were like sounds. It could be described as quiet now. Then, it was loud. There had been no fear or very much anger recently. They barely needed him to make anyone calm down anymore. That was actually a good break to him.
But the silence did get quite boring. The emotions that raced through other beings did effect him. When other people were excited, he might begin to feel excited. But his ability wasn't always good. Other than choosing the same life style of Alice, the reason he drank animal blood was because their pain wasn't as noticable to him as a humans. He hated feeling their pain. He didn't like his power most of the time.
Jasper was in the forest. He had walked very slowly, he didn't feel like running. He let out a unnessicary breath, and felt the urge to sit down. Some of his human instincts maybe. People sat when they waited most of the time. Yet he was outside, and he didn't feel like sitting on the ground. He stood just beyond the edge where the trees started. He turned to face the house, imagining Alice walking toward him.

little miss alice She stood there a moment, wondering something to herself. She liked the fact she and Edward were close enough he hardly willingly read her mind anymore. If they could block each from her mind then they would, unless Edward was dying to see something she was thinking or about a vision she had. She hummed to herself as she dressed, wondering what to wear. Her closet was so full that it was hard to make choices about the proper outfit. After seeing the vision of Jasper in the forest, she'd rushed to her closet to find the perfect forest wear. She looked through a few of her vests, found some of her baseball outfits and wondered to herself how long until the next storm. Now that Bella was a vampire she could play with them. It was a fun sport for the family to play, no matter what happened the last time with James and all. But she didn't think that'd deter them from a good game, now that Bella was a vampire and could easily fight with them if they ran into someone like James again.
She thought back to her outfit choices, slipping on a pair of various shades of blue camo jeans. It was a new pair, something she'd picked up only this last weekend after getting back from a day of hunting with Bella and Renesme. She kept humming though, her own ears could hear the fact she was annoying Emmett with it. This only made her chuckle, though she stopped as she slipped on a white long sleeved shirt and a sleeveless vest that matched her jeans almost to the T. She knew Jasper would be expecting her, hence the reason she'd got the vision she had. Him explicitly waiting there in the forest for her. She smiled at the thought of him, making her way to her window and jumping out of it onto the tree branch. Her small body barely had the tree making a sound and she grinned at this.
She wouldn't rush this, she knew that he'd be there waiting for her. So why rush it, making him wait a little longer wouldn't kill him. Then again she hated being away from him, it made her long for the moments when she'd be back in his embrace. Sure, she could handle it when she had 'just girls' days but lately she wanted nothing more then time alone with Jasper. She craved it most days, she could annoy Edward all day when she did nothing but think about him. Damn, now all this thinking about him made her want to rush through the forest to him. So she did just that, finding herself at a tree a few feet away from him. "Expecting someone?" she giggled, walking up to him. "A girlfriend perhaps? No... a wife maybe?" she teased, wrapping her arms around his waist and burying her head into his chest and inhaling his scent. Now this was the perfect moment for her, at least today it was the most perfect; she knew she had plenty of others in their life together.

Jasper sighed as he kept watching the house. The anticipation was killing him. He knew she would make him wait. That's was just how she was. She knew he was waiting, she'd make him do just that. She would take her time dressing up, she liked that. He remembered how often Bella had been her project, like the wedding or the day of prom. And she always spent so long getting ready. It didn't matter to Jasper. Alice was always perfect to him. It didn't matter what she wore, she was was everything Jasper could ask for. She was more important than anything.
Jasper laughed at himself. He could complain all he wanted about how much time she spent on herself. It made him laugh, that something could bother him, but that made her Alice, and everything about Alice he loved so much. He would admit that it only bothered him because the time she spent playing dress up kept her away from him, and that was the only part about it that honestly bothered him.
Alice was probably annoying people, especially Edward with her thoughts. He didn't like to hear about how much Jasper and Alice thought about each other. Hypocrite. Jasper could bet anything, except Alice of course, that Edward thought about Bella just as much as Jasper thought about Alice. And she would walked slowly towards where she had seen him waiting. Before he saw her, he heard her, felt her love and happiness. She couldn't wait for something, she was impatient. He knew what for. It was obvious. He didn't need to read her mind. If she didn't want him, she wouldn't be coming.
Jasper let a smile spread across his lips as he saw Alice. He stood prefectly still where he was as she approached him. Jasper let his arms work their way around her petite frame as she embraced him. "Hmm...I don't know." He chuckled, closing his eyes. He wasn't going to let go of her for a little while. "But I suppose, you'll do just fine." They stood there, arms wrapped around eachother for a while. Jasper would have to agree with Alice, this moment was perfect.
