The day was a bit dull and boring without Bella or their daughter there to keep him company. But, she was off visiting her father and Edward insisted that she go and see him without him this time, it would be good for the her and her father to talk and be with one another without having a third-party there. Sighing slightly, Edward sat in his bedroom in the Cullen house and stared around him glancing towards the one wall that was filled with nothing but his whole CD collect that was a variety of artist and genre's. It really was amazing how much one could collect a certain thing over long periods of time when you had all the time in the world and to Edward, he really did have all the time in the world. The vampire boy never slept, he didn't need it and he spent a lot of it with Bella and their daughter.
As the thought of the lullaby came to his mind, it caused a smile to spread across his pale lips as he remembered the first time he ever began composing the song for his wife. He was so happy when he was able to finally play the lullaby for Bella. Edward stood up from the bed and made his way swiftly through the hallways and down the stairs until he reached the first floor of the house. He flitted his way towards the piano and sat down gracefully on the bench, placing his pale fingers on the keys before him. Edward took in a small breath, closing his eyes as his fingers began to glide across the keys, bringing out the tune of Bella's lullaby.
The crooked smile spread out across his lips, as he opened his eyes and didn't bother to look down at his fingers as he continued to play out the tune. Edward just looked ahead of him, towards the rest of the house before him, hoping that Bella would come back soon. He was already missing her terribly and was half tempted to leave the house and go to Charlies' home to just see Bella, to hold her.
Edward sighed a bit, as the lullaby came to an end; he let his fingers rest gently on on the keys before him. His head dropped finally to stare down at the pale fingers, he went off into thought.

Bella must have gotten stubbornness from Charlie. He refused to learn anymore about the life Bella chose. She was a vampire, and his only granddaughter was a half vampire, and that's all that mattered to him. He didn't want to know anything else. He was probably angry, and maybe a little uncomfortable knowing that his daughter could lose control drink his blood at any moment. She sighed at herself, she would not drink his blood ever, she didn't even want to think about it.
"Good night Ch...dad." She said as she walked to the door. "I love you." She opened the door, and stood there until she heard him return her comment. The television clicked on and the sound of a baseball game filled the house. She walked out the door and closed it slowly behind her.
She left earlier than she expected, probably because Charlie refused to talk about anything. She was running back home at the moment. She just wanted to see Edward right now, or always. She had felt that way about him since the first day she saw him. Even after he had been rude that first day, she still wanted to see him, she remembered wanting to confront him about how rude he was. She wouldn't have been able to that, because he would have dazzled her, which still happens a lot. Plus, the next time she saw him, he was nice to her, and confronting would have been rude on her part.
She was back at the Cullen home in no time. She was so close to seeing him. She slipped into the house and smiled right away. Edward sat at the piano, his fingers gliding across the keys, and a familar song was playing. Her lullaby. He had written it for her, and played it for her when she had first met the rest of his family. And the same day she had watched them play baseball. She stopped there. She did not want to connect something so beautiful with that horrible memory.
She stood where she was until it ended and walked over to the piano at a human pace, just for a bit of suspense. She loved that Edward couldn't read her mind, that way entrances like this were better, so he wouldn't be interupted by her thoughts. "That song is still amazing." She whispered and sat down on the bench next to her husband. "I believe it gets better every time somebody plays it."

The past few years that Edward has spent with Bella seemed almost as if they had happened many years ago. The vampire boy sat as still as a statue, his eyes staring down at his fingers, but he wasn't seeing anything that was before his eyes. His mind was far away, to the very first time he had ever laid eyes on Bella Swan; him and his family had been walking into the cafeteria, heading off over to the table they sat at. Alice had seen the human girl arriving to Forks the day before and apparently, she had seen that Edward was going to be with her.
It wasn't until he had sat in Biology next to the human girl did it seem that Alice's visions changed for something worse. It took everything he had to be able to contain himself from attacking her, not only killing Bella, but killing all of the innocent humans in the same room. It wasn't that killing them all would of been the problem, but it would of made Edward into the monster he never wants to be; he'd of betrayed his family and they'd have to leave Forks and Edward would of broken the treaty between them and the shapeshifters of La Push.
Edward pushed the horrid thought away, he went on with his memories, remembering when he finally gave in, not caring what his family or the others around him thought about him wanting to be with Bella. The vampire boy was happy; after years of not having his soul mate around, he finally found her and he wasn't going to keep himself from being with her. Of course, Edward skipped over the memories of him leaving her and having the thought that the girl had died from what Alice had seen or when Edward tried to kill himself in Italy and the whole outcome of that.
Instead, Edward went on to when he had finally proposed to his love, and as much as he hated the promise he made to her, he was happy that she was marrying him. When the wedding day came, Edward felt like the happiest guy in the world; he enjoyed their honeymoon on Isle Esme, but a part of him hated for giving in to Bella's urges. The boy couldn't deny that he didn't enjoy it all, but to know that he could of really lost control of himself and killed the girl then with only one wrong move, made him wish it never happened. But, in the end, everything came out perfectly fine. Bella would now with him all eternity and he felt that their life is complete with their daughter Reneesme in their life as well.
Edward was so lost within his thoughts, he didn't even hear Bella approaching the house or even towards him. It wasn't until she start speaking did, a smile spread across his lips; Edward lifted is head up and turned to the side to see Bella sitting down next to him on the bench. The vampire boy wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her close to him "It's amazing because it was inspired by you." he told her, as he kissed her gently on the side of her face, then buried his face a bit into her neck. One thing Edward could admit, was that Bella still had that sweet scent about her, the one he loves deeply.

It had been hard for Bella to understand Edward at first. How he seemed to hate her so much the first day, and then how he was so kind the next time she saw him. How he would vanish on sunny days, how the color of his eyes were black on that first day, and would be golden the next time she saw him.
It all seemed to make sense after she had visited La Push with her friends. After she had spoken to Jacob, and he told her the legend he didn't believe in, until Jacob found our that he was a werewolf. But once Bella had figured it out, she surprisingly was not scared. It must of been because how deeply in love she already was with him. Vampires though were unbelievable, and then figuring out all the myths. It seemed amazing to Bella, how perfect vampires were, yet Edward hated the monster he was.
But now Bella was happy. She would finally be with Edward forever, and forever was a long time. She hated thinking about growing old and finally dying, or even living without Edward. What would have happened to her if Edward had refused to turn her into a vampire? She didn't want to find out. All that mattered to her now was that she was a vampire, even if Edward thought she was stupid for choosing this instead of a normal life.
She had it just right, with Renesmee and Edward. Their little cabin. She didn't like to remember the bad parts, like Edward thinking about aborting Renesmee, Bella was happy she refused to go along with Edwards choice, even if her's almost killed her. Renesmee was the most beautiful being. She didn't like when Edward almost provoked the Volturi to get them to kill him. She would not have been able to move on if he was killed.
Bella watched the smile move across his lips, and she matched it. She wrapped her arms around him. She liked being unbreakable now, so Edward wouldn't have to worry all the time like he used to. He was still gentle though, and she loved that. "I think it's so amazing because it was written by you. She suggested. She closed her eyes and relaxed against him, her breathing slowing. Bella wondered if Edward missed how her heart used to speed up when he was this close to her.

Feeling her arms go around him and hearing her words, cause the smile to spread out into a grin. While he had his face a bit buried within her neck, a part of him had been waiting to hear the sound of heart stutter or even speed up whenever he was this close to her; or even when he would just touch her. The way her cheeks would flush red with blood, her pulse would start to pump faster and her heart would pound faster in her chest to keep the blood flow going. Unfortunately, he didn't get to hear that anymore. Edward would admit that he missed her humanly actions, he always loved the feel of her warm skin and how delicate the girl use to be in his arms. Though, he did like that he didn't really have to be careful with Bella anymore.
It still amazes him to this day that the vampire boy had wanted to get rid of their daughter before she would progress any more inside of Bella. He had thought of the thing has a monster and would never acknowledge it as something that he had helped created; all he saw it was something that was slowly killing his one and only love and to Edward, that was the biggest crime anyone could ever do. But, as always, Bella became stubborn, not wanting to get rid of the child, and of all the people within his family, he had thought Rose would of been on his side with this, but blond haired girl wasn't; she was siding with Bella and he eventually figure out why. If the child was born, it'd killed Bella, she'd be gone and that would leave a child that Edward wouldn't want and thus, Rosalie would have her chance of raising and taking care of a child. Something he didn't want to see happen.
But, nonetheless, Edward had given into Bella's demands, it was something she wanted and it seemed to make her happy with the thought of having a child with him. The day the baby decided it was ready to be in this world, was one of the hardest day's the vampire boy had to ever go through. Not only did he have to see the child pretty much tear through Bella, but he had to quickly make a decision; he either let Bella die or he changed her.
Of course, she's still here with him today. When he had first thought Bella had died from diving off the cliff's of La Push, he knew he had made the mistake of leaving her and would do anything possible to get himself killed to go and hopefully be with her in whatever it was that people went after they died. Edward could never see his life without Bella after all of that and to have stood there watching her life tick away by the seconds, it was a very hard choice for him to make.
Pulling away from her neck, he still kept the smile to his lips, as he looked into Bella's golden-topaz eyes "So how was it at Charlies?" he asked her curiously.

Bella remembered how she was once embarassed that Edward knew when her heart would stop quickly when he would kiss her, and would start beating again, faster again than she would think possible. It even happened when he was close to her. She remembered when she was in the hosipital after the incident with James and Edward had again caused her heart to over react. The nurse had walked in and seemed a bit worried.
Bella thought about when Edward was a human. He had a short human life, just like Bella. What was he like? He had to have been a gentleman. But that was how every boy treated girls about one hundred years ago. She remembered his story. He was about to die, and Carlisle couldn't let that happen. Carlisle didn't want to be alone anymore, and like when Bella had been transformed, the choice was that or death. Bella was glad that had happened to Edward, even though it sounded pretty cruel to feel that way about something that tragic. But if that would have never happened, then Bella would have never met Edward, and she would have died that day when Tyler's van went out of control and almost crushed her.
Bella didn't remember the day she had given birth to Renesmee very well. She remember the pain and the smell of blood. A very strong smell of blood. There had to have been a lot. The pain was probably the worst part of birth. Renesmee practically pulled her apart. The transformation was definately the worst pain she had ever gone through. It was like she was on fire. Bella knew that was the venom. She remembered how her wrist had felt like she was on fire after James had bitten her. She woke up, everybody wondering if that venom directly to the heart had made it easier. She didn't want to disapoint the hopeful Edward and Carlisle, and she had told them it had helped.
Bella was such an accident attraction when she was a human. She noticed that most of her near death experiences had taken place after she had come to Forks. Did Edward know that too? And her mother was so surprised that she wanted to stay in Forks after what Bella had to do to make Charlie let her leave. Bella only wanted to be there for Edward. Vampires couldn't live in Jacksonville.
Bella took in her mates perfect features, knowing her heart would have skipped a beat if she was still a human. She rolled her eyes. "He didn't want to know any more. Just like the first time we talked to him." She giggled. "I don't know how you can deal with how stubborn I am if I'm anything like Charlie."

Edward could remember the day that Charlie came over to the Cullen's home only a short while after Bella had been transformed. He knew right away that Charlie was suspicion of his only daughter and of course, he was a little upset with the fact that his daughter, married at such a young age, already had a child as well. And of course, Edward did know the Charlie could be stubborn and figured it was where Bella got it from so this thought made him smile more towards his wife "Trust me, I've learned to get use to it." he told her, as he reached up with one hand and stroked the side of her face gently "Besides, I love your stubbornness." he told her affectionately.
Edward let his hand trail down the girl's face slowly, letting it drop down to her side once more, his arm snaking around her once more. The smile stayed upon his face, he still thought of himself as one of the luckiest man in the world. He could never ask for a perfect wife than Bella, she was everything that he could had ever wanted in a soul mate and even more. They had their own little place within the forest, thanks to his family and to complete his and Bella's own family, they had their little daughter to make their life whole.
Though, it still killed him a bit to see that Jacob Black had imprinted on his daughter, his little girl. Even though while the baby was developing inside of Bella, he wanted nothing more to rid of the thing, but now, as he was able to hold her, to see her; Edward couldn't help but to love and care for the child. The fact that she is his flesh and blood just made it all the more for him to love and adore the little girl so much more; the fact that he made that child with his wife, his true love. Thinking of it more, caused an uneasy sigh to escape his lips, as he leaned in towards Bella some more, closing his eyes and taking in her scent to calm him down a bit.
Honestly, the guy was dreading the day that Jacob Black comes to him, asking for Renesmee's hand in marriage. He knew it was going to be a day that he didn't want to see come any time soon.
OOC: sorry that's a bit short =/

Bella remembered that day too. Charlie must have been very upset. She could tell that he didn't really want her to be married this early anyways. She was too young for everything. When she first brought up Edward to him, he had asked if Bella was too young. Then Charlie was pleased to find out that she didn't mean Emmett, he was too big. She laughed about that. Not then, but when she thinks about it. She didn't want to tell her father that Edward was her boyfriend, but Edward made her.
Bella stared at Edward after hearing his response. "You love my stubbornness?" She was honestly surprised by that. Hadn't Edward always seemed frustrated and angry when she was stubborn. However, he could find ways to ignore it. He could also be stubborn. But Bella knew she was far worse. She smiled at him after deciding that it didn't matter what she thought his opinions were. She would believe him.
Bella closed her eyes and stopped breathing as Edward had his hand near her face. She moved one of her hands onto his shoulder and leaned closer to him, finally leaning against him. She was extremely grateful that she had the rest of her life to spend with him, and to spend with the rest of her family she loved so much. She planned on her life lasting for a long time. She took in a deep breath, letting his scent fill her nostrils. It was amazing when she was a human, but even more powerful now that her sense of smell noticed much more. His scent meant he was there.
Unlike Edward, Bella was happy Jacob had imprinted on Renesmee. Sure, Bella wouldn't have minded if it was someone else, but now she didn't feel bad at all for choosing Edward over him. She loved Edward more than she had ever loved Jacob, but she still had loved both of them. Especially since Jacob was her comfort. But Jacob had someone to love. She was only afraid that Jacob would transform in front of Renesmee, and something bad would happen. Werewolves were almost that only thing that could kill a vampire.
Bella loved Renesmee, and she was honestly happy when Jacob was around. Whatever made Renesmee happy made Bella very happy. Though Bella could live without the rest of the world calling her daughter Nessie. Bella didn't like it at all, and sometimes the horrible nickname slipped out of her mouth. Her daughter was not supposed to be named after a monster, but after her two grandmothers.

The crooked grin took place onto Edward's pale lips at Bella's response to his words "I admit, I get a little frustrated with how stubborn you are, but I love it." he told her, keeping the grin there to his lips "I love everything about you, Bells." he told her, though he was pretty sure his wife already knew that, or else the two of them wouldn't be sitting right here with one another.
That thought made Edward think about his daughter and Jacob imprinting on her once more. Of course, the vampire knew that it wasn't really Jacob's fault. The boy couldn't control who and when he imprinted on someone. Edward kind of felt it was the same way with how he fell in love with Bella and knew he had to be with her. At first he didn't want to believe that it was the whole 'soul mate' thing, because Edward never believed in himself as having a soul. But, he had waited decades for something, for that person; it wasn't until Bella was born and that their paths crossed did he realize that he had been waiting for Bella.
Sighing an unneeded sigh, the guy pulled himself a little bit away from Bella and stared towards her "You know.." he began, his words coming out a little slow "It won't be long before Jacob is coming to us and asking for Renesmee's hand in marriage." the thought made Edward cringe, though he tried not to show it and hoped the horror didn't cross his features. Edward had never been a father before, but the way he saw Charlie react to it when they told the man, was something Edward hoped he didn't have to go through. Now, here he is, a father, something he never thought would happen in years, and was dreading the day to come.

Bella bit her lip. At this moment, she could become even more stubborn and tell Edward she didn't believe him, but she decided against it. She was improving, very slowly. She smiled at Edward. "I think I've told you many times that I love everything about you." As far back as she remembered being with Edward, she remembered trying to find something that he wasn't good at, but she never could. She made it almost clear that he was perfect to her. Without Edward, she didn't know where she would be right now, probably with Jacob, but he would most likely imprint on someone else, and Bella would be extremely dissapointed in everything, and that would probably be too much for her.
But Jacob couldn't control who he imprinted on. There were many times where a werewolf would imprint on a random human, and would have to leave a current girlfriend. And werewolves imprinted on whoever was meant for them, no matter their age. Like Resnesmee, who was only a couple months old at the moment. It wasn't his fault. It just happened, like so many other things in Bella's life. She didn't regret any of it.
Bella hated when Edward talked about how he was such a monster. Because he thought he was a monster, they almost couldn't spend the rest of their lives together. Bella was happy they were both 'monsters' they had so much time together, and she was deeply in love with him. It didn't matter to Bella if Edward was undead or his heart didn't beat anymore, it didn't bother her now, and it didn't bother her when she was a human. She figured now that she was a vampire, and what she had seen of other vampires, that she was a bit crazy for not being terrified.
Bella looked up at Edward as he moved away. It had surprised her, she had had the feeling they would sit like that for a while, until their little energetic daughter or another family member interupted them. She would have moved unwillingly. Bella sighed as Edward spoke. "Considering how fast she grows, you will have to deal with it a lot sooner than Charlie did." Charlie had eighteen years to prepare when Edward had about three years. She didn't know how Edward would deal with it, Renesmee marrying Jacob seemed to bother him a lot.

A smile came to his pale lips at her words, as long as the vampire could remember, Bella had always seemed to try to find something that Edward wasn't good at. Though, he couldn't deny that there was very little that the boy was able to do without having some kind of error to it. Then again, he felt all of that came with the decades he's been a vampire, his knowledge for the world around him growing as each day and year passes by him.
As Bella's next words came out, it made him cringe at the thought of it. He didn't feel like he was ready to give away his only child..or at least, not so quickly to say the least. It wasn't that Edward didn't feel like Jacob wasn't the right guy for Renesmee, because he knew well enough that he is; the two were meant to be together, one way or another. A small unneeded sigh came form his lips, as he closed his eyes and shook his head "I don't think I'm ready to deal with that so soon.." he told her. Edward opened his eyes and looked towards his wife.
"It's not that I don't believe Jacob to be a good husband to her..." he trailed away from his words as he thought them through a bit before continuing "I just don't want to see it happen so soon." he frowned slightly "That's my--our little girl." at that moment, Edward wished that their child would appear, so he could pick her up in his arms and hold her close to him; to wish that she'd stay his little girl forever. But he knew that she wouldn't stay a little girl forever, he would always see her as his little girl no matter what, though.
