To Whom It May Concern,
They're all around us
We just don't know it.
Who am I talking about?
I think the more appropriate question is "what". We humans always believe ourselves as top of the food chain, the most advanced creature, predator in the world.
But we were wrong.
All around us, there are vampires, werewolves, advanced hunters who live off human flesh and blood. We aren't the top of the food chain, we've never been, we're just like all the other animals. They're the ultimate predators, enhanced senses, strength, speed. They're beautiful, drawing us in, so powerful, we can't escape their clutches.
To think, a few months ago, I was just like you, I didn't believe in vampires, or werewolves, except what was in TV, in books. Maybe to say that I was just like you would be a lie, but if I told you the truth, you wouldn't believe me. No one does. Why? Because no one knows the nightmare it is to live in my world. I can predict the future, I have visions of symbols of what might come to pass. As they say, the future always changes, and mine changed, though for better or for worse, I don't know yet. But I do know that Nicholas Stewart was the catalyst. Smooth, cool, gorgeous, I didn't expect to fall in love with him, but I did.
That was when I learned the truth, Nick, and his family, were vampires and that there were any number of vampires and werewolves out there that could kill me for knowing. But some believe in peace, vampires and werewolves who are willing to work together to form a symbiotic relationship with humans. However, there are those who would like nothing more than to wipe out humanity.
We aren't the top of the food chain anymore.
Now that you know, you should watch your back.
Which side are you on?
"The world is what it is; men who are nothing, who allow themselves to become nothing, have no place in it."
